1. Who can use these tools
Owners and managers see the Order tools card on an order's detail page, and can issue
complimentary tickets. Door and viewer roles can't do either.
2. Resend tickets
Resend tickets re-sends the confirmation email to the buyer's address on file, with a
working manage link. It's limited to 5 resends an order per hour, so it can't be used to
spam a buyer's inbox.
3. Correct the buyer email
If a buyer mistyped their email, enter the right one under Correct buyer email and
choose Update & resend. This revokes every manage link already sent to the old
address — including the original confirmation email's — and sends a fresh one to the new
address. It's recorded in the audit log with both addresses.
4. Edit attendee names
For an event that collects attendee names, each valid ticket on the order gets its own
form — one name field per person it admits — with a Save button. This is the same
field an attendee uses to fill in their own name, so it's useful when a buyer asks you to
add or correct a name after the event's on sale.
5. Issue complimentary tickets
From an event, Issue complimentary tickets creates a free order for a chosen Ticket
type, Recipient name, Recipient email and Quantity — no payment, no Stripe
account needed, and no booking fee. Choose Issue tickets to confirm. Comp tickets still
count against that ticket type's stock and the event's capacity, so they can't oversell it.
6. What comps don't do
Complimentary tickets aren't available for a cancelled or completed event — there's
nothing left to admit anyone to. They're excluded from revenue figures, and an order's
detail page marks one Complimentary so it's never mistaken for a paid sale. Issuing
one is written to the audit log.
